About Us

Tammy (far right) is the mother of an Autistic son, Steven, who is 35 years old. Tammy noticed a change in Steven around a year old and decided to get him tested. Once Steven was diagnosed, she knew her life has changed forever. Tammy is a working, single mother who raised 4 kids. All of her kids helped with Steven growing up and still do to this day. Tammy has over 20 years experience working in the Education field. She started out working at a preschool, and is now a Vocational Specialist at a Special Education High School where she helps find jobs for students with disabilities. Tammy has dedicated her life to caring for others, including her parents and grandson. Last year, Tammy graduated with her Bachelors Degree in Child Development with an Emphasis in Special Education.

Alexandra (a.k.a. “Ali”, far left) is 24 years old and has a 3 year old son, Ethan with Autism. Ethan was diagnosed around the age of 2. Ali noticed “reg flags” in Ethan when he was not developing his language. Ethan currently is in a special day program, and Ali has been such a wonderful mother in providing for his every need. Ali is pursuing her Nursing Degree and hopes to be a neonatal nurse.

Samantha (28, middle), is not a mother currently, but has grown up with an older brother with Autism (Steven). Samantha helped care for Steven growing up and is a support system for her mother,Tammy, her sister, Ali, and her younger nephew, Ethan. In 2014, Samantha graduated with her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Vanguard University. Last year, she graduated with her Master’s degree in Human Behavior and is currently in her Special Education credential program where she is obtaining her Moderate/Severe credential.
